Website Safety - Our orders are processed on a secure server by PayPal, so we never see your personal credit card information. You can buy with confidence and feel 100% safe using our site and using PayPal. In the event you call us on the telephone, after chatting we will re-direct you to place the order on the website for the protection of both of us.
Returns - We will gladly accept returns within 30 days of purchase date according to the following guidelines. All returns must be accompanied by an authorization code given via email; contact us at sales@beachgrasscottage.com to receive authorization. Items must be returned, at your expense, wrapped well in their original packaging, unsoiled, unbroken and available for resale. Your credit card will be credited for the item amount less a 10% restocking fee after the returned items arrive in good condition.
We ship many very delicate items and we are masters at protective packaging, however accidents in shipping do happen. If you receive an item that has been broken or damaged in shipment, please call us immediately and we will work with you to rectify the problem. *
* Note on Shell Adhesion - We always use industrial adhesives on our designs to minimize shells from becoming dislodged. We never use common craft glues, as they will not hold through shipping or over the long run. On occasion, especially with products like our shell encrusted letters where multiple layers are applied, shells may pop off during shipping. This is not damage; a quick fix with a household glue gun will mend the problem, resulting in a perfect piece once more.
Privacy - We will not, ever, sell our customer list to anyone, period. On occasion we will send out periodic customer follow ups and /or sale emails, which you may opt out of at any time. We value our customers and their privacy, and we hate junk mail and spam too!
Order Fulfillment - While we try to keep ahead just a bit ,many of our items are made to order. It’s our goal to ship all non-custom orders within 3 business days of receipt of order. If our production schedule varies from that goal you will be contacted via phone or email with an estimated ship date. Additionally, you will be contacted via phone or email if we encounter an out-of-stock situation on any product ordered.
Shipping - We ship very delicate and breakable items and you would not believe the quantities of bubble wrap we use! We will make every effort to group things together to minimize shipping costs, but we also need to be concerned with not banging fragile items together in shipment. Additionally, we recycle and reuse suitable packaging and shipping boxes to help remain environmentally friendly and we hope you respect and understand that choice.
We ship each weekday, not on weekends.
At this time we ship to the contiguous 48 United States only and use Fedex Ground and Home Delivery. Express shipping is available-- please call us for a quote.
