Beach Grass Cottage was created out of my passions for the sea, the beach, and shelling. I hand design each item from beautiful natural seashells, starfish, and tumbled beach glass.
My signature best selling items are my beautiful sea glass frames, seashell mirrors, and my fabulous starfish mirror.
My items make great gifts--hostess gifts, wedding gifts, or just special gifts for the people closest to you, for whom value and a handmade quality is important and worth the extra effort and cost.

Your order is secure, as I process all orders on PayPal, so I never see your confidential credit card information. You can use your credit card even if you don't have a PayPal account!!
TAX: 6% tax is charged to orders shipping within Michigan.
Shipping
I ship every weekday using Fedex Home Delivery or Ground, and I use clean recycled materials when I can.
TIMELINE: Orders ship within (3) business days of your order. I'll contact you via your email if there will be an additional delay processing your order. Vacation shipping delays are noted at the top of my shop pages under "Shop Announcements".
ALASKA & HAWAII: I no longer use USPS to ship to AK or HI.
If you are in Alaska or Hawaii and would like to order, please contact me for a Fedex shipping quote; do not order from this site. If you place an order on this site for shipment to AK or HI, I will contact you with a Fedex quote for the additional shipping to see if you would like to proceed with the order.
Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS: I want you to love your purchase and be 100% satisfied. Please message me within 7 days of receipt to authorize your return. I'll give you a return authorization number and help you with any packaging questions.
Unless damage is involved, returns must be authorized within 7 days of receipt. Products need to be in resellable condition, in our original protective packaging, and shipped back at buyers expense. Your PayPal refund will be processed after the item is returned to me packaged well and in resellable condition.
DAMAGE: Please notify me of any damage within 7 days of receipt. I will ask you to photograph the damage; Fedex requires a photo during the claims process.
A word on shell/sea glass adhesion: The shipping process can sometimes dislodge a piece or two of shell or beach glass no matter how much I bubble wrap the item! This is not "damage". Small repairs can be made with a household hot glue gun.
LAST CHANCE CLEARANCE items are final sales.
NO REFUNDS ON CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom orders, by their nature, are not returnable. I will work you beforehand in detail to make sure you are happy with what we are creating for you before it's created. Emailed photos are also available before shipping.
Additional Policies and FAQs
SEA GLASS: I use manufactured tumbled sea glass in my pieces. While I LOVE genuine sea glass, it is much too costly to use in the quantities I need for my pieces.
SHELL/SEA GLASS AVAILABILITY: On occasion I may need to substitute shell varieties or sea glass shades due to unavailability.
I can guarantee that your purchase will contain all the elements pictured, but specific shell types and species cannot be guaranteed, and they will be different from the stock photo.
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation made uniquely for you! That's why they call it "art", not "production line"!
CUSTOM ORDERS: I love to do custom work and look forward to creating something gorgeous just for you. Custom orders by their very nature are customized to your wishes and are not returnable.
I will work with you beforehand in detail to make sure we are both in agreement with what we are creating for you before we proceed. Once all your questions have been addressed and we are in agreement on all aspects of the design, materials and timeline, in writing, I will require full prepayment.
I require this prepayment in order to "go ahead" and purchase items for your order that I would ordinarily not have in stock and would not be able to sell to someone else.
When your item is completed, email photos are available before I ship your custom item so you can take a look prior to my shipping it out.

DROP SHIPPING: I welcome drop shipping partnerships with online retailers of upscale coastal home decor, however I am looking for a perfect "fit" with my products and the drop ship site.
