My custom seashell mirrors and sea glass mirrors grace fine homes from Martha's Vineyard to Honolulu, and I'd love to create one just for you! Each shell mirror is created carefully and with artisan craftsmanship especially for you with your exact specifications in mind.
Do you have a shell mirror in your mind, but can't find it in any stores? You can send me a sketch, a photo to copy, or just a list of features you'd like incorporated into the shell mirror design, and I will first design a detailed quote for the project. We can talk about the shell components you like or dislike, and the "feel" you are trying to convey with the shell mirror.
You can expect your gorgeous seashell mirror to be shipped to you within 2-4 weeks depending on my current workload. If you request e-mailed photographs of the completed work prior to shipment, I'd be glad to do that for you as part of my service.
Prepayment in full is necessary for custom work, and due to the nature of custom work, these items are non-refundable. I will make sure we are both clear on the project scope, expectations, and timeline prior to requesting payment.
My shell mirrors are shipped via Fedex Ground and are fully insured for damage, although we've shipped hundreds of mirrors and never had more than a few shells dislodged. Fedex shipping charges will run $50-75 in the continental USA. Sorry, I do not ship custom mirrors outside the continental USA.
Following are photos of white base mirrors I work with for custom projects, a few pictures of the process, and some completed custom shell mirror projects. I work with an excellent mirror manufacturer for my mirror bases and I know you will be pleased with their high quality. The mirrors are all furniture quality solid wood, beautifully lacquered, and include a beveled mirror and hangers for vertical and horizontal hanging. They will be expertly packaged, protected, and insured for their journey to you via Fedex Ground.
Other base mirrors in wood tones, antique cream, black and other finishes are available. Please email me if you'd like to see other finishes besides white and I will email photos to you of what's available.

Mirror #371 in progress. My client sent a photograph of a seashell mirror he wanted me to duplicate.
This mirror now graces a beautiful island home on Martha's Vineyard; wish I could go there to see it!!
Our inexpensive 18x30" pine mirror base made a very elegant looking starfish mirror for a Florida condo owner. This mirror is very labor intensive; my husband tells me starfish mirrors help me work on my sorely lacking patience skills!!
Mirror #398 oval-- this project was actually 2 twin mirrors for above the powder room sinks in a California bathroom redo, shown in the soft pink sea glass.

Close-ups of a huge floor to ceiling mirror I created. Don't worry, it wasn't shipped!!
#396 round, with all white shells and starfish, and lots of pearls, turned out JUST GORGEOUS!!!
My favorite mirror to date.
#381 square, layered with Mexican flat scallops. So textural and eye catching! It's now hanging in a boat house in Northern Michigan.
#373 Rectangle with sea glass in our "bright mix" colors and pretty starfish accents.
Please take note of the lack of adhesive showing. Great time and attention to detail go into each mirror so that all adhesive is covered and every nook and cranny is filled.
#398 oval created with all whites for a Michigan customer-- simple, elegant and fabulous!
#389 Basic Rectangle, but not a basic shell mirror! I used pearly abalone shells and pearls for the "pea pods". All white mirrors are always in style, and they match any decor!
My 18x30" inexpensive pine mirror, created with sea glass in "light green mix" and "aqua mix" plus lots of sand dollars, starfish, pretty white shells, and pearls. They are both now hanging in Hawaii!
#389 Rectangle, luminescent in clear sea glass with lots of specialty "show-off" shells and starfish.
#389 Rectangle, a detailed masterpiece fully covered in thousands of beautiful shells and starfish. This mirror completed a California powder room re-do with beautiful terra cotta walls and white fixtures. The room is just fabulous!
Our inexpensive 18" square pine mirror layered with shiny oyster shells. My client gave me a photograph of something she liked in a magazine and we tried to duplicate the things she liked about it. Turned out really cool!
#371 Flared Rectangle, classically created with our "bright mix" of sea glass, lots of pretty white shells, sand dollars, starfish, and subtle pearl accents. My client is a lovely woman with a beach house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I'm sure this mirror is perfect for her beachy home!
#398 white oval mirror in mixed natural shells. This one is so interesting-- so much to look at!
